SameHand for Chrome

Rewrite your draft on X, compare versions, apply, and undo. Posting stays with you.

Download extension

Install in developer mode

  1. Download and unzip the extension to a folder.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.
  3. Choose Load unpacked and select that folder.

Use on X

  1. Write a post or reply on x.com. Select a passage, or keep the cursor in the draft.
  2. Click SameHand in Chrome's extensions menu. Add your writing examples in My writing voice.
  3. Rewrite, review, and choose Apply to X. Undo restores the original if the draft has not changed.

Only the draft you choose is transferred. There is no background collection or automatic posting. Connections expire after 20 minutes.

To uninstall, open chrome://extensions and choose Remove on SameHand.
